Cima Piccola di Lavaredo – normal route

Although it is the smallest of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, the Cima Piccola hides in its folds a normal route of considerable charm. It runs along a vertical and exposed wall with moderate difficulty, apart from the short, steep and slippery final chimney. A route not to be missed!

The Cima Piccola di Lavaredo is the smallest of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, the symbol of the Dolomites World Heritage Site, but is extremely interesting from a climbing point of view.
The normal route, in fact, is a beautiful climbing route that is not difficult but steep and exposed, which allows you to fully enjoy the spectacle of the surrounding landscape.
The descent is by abseiling, partly following the route of the ascent.
This beautiful and rewarding climb is suitable for those with some experience of multipitch climbing.

What you need to know:
  • The minimum age should not be seen as a rigid parameter, but rather as a rough indication that will obviously depend on the technical skills, experience and level of training of the participants. If you feel that you or a member of your group would be able to take part in the excursion if your age were lower, please contact me directly at info@giovanni-orlando.it or call +39 328 83 15 601. In this case it is compulsory to contact the guide before registering for the activity.
  • The maximum number of persons indicated must be intended for a single guide. In the case of larger groups, one or more mountain guides will be used, in accordance with the maximum ratio indicated on the activity sheet. In this case, please send an e-mail to info@giovanni-orlando.it or call +39 328 83 15 601.
  • It is imperative that participants follow the instructions of the mountain guide before and during the activities and respect any changes to the chosen programme in order to ensure their safety.
  • Fees for facilities, transfers and accommodation are subject to change at the discretion of the operator (external to my company) and are not included in the price of the activity unless otherwise stated.
  • The fares shown in the ‘The fare does not include’ section are indicative and may vary.
  • For all itineraries and activities, the guide reserves the right to make changes according to conditions (weather, accessibility, refuges) and the physical condition of the participants.
  • The times indicated for carrying out the activities are subject to variations due to weather conditions and the physical state of the area (snowfall, terrain conditions, etc.) and necessarily depend on the opening and closing dates of the ski lifts, which are set seasonally/annually by the ski lift operators and are therefore in no way attributable to the mountain guide.
  • Minors under the age of 18, if unaccompanied, require a parental or guardian waiver to be given to the guide prior to the excursion.
