The Sellaronda is a fantastic on-piste ski tour that allows you to ski on some of the most beautiful slopes in the Dolomites, using only the ski lifts to get from one ski resort to another one. The Sellaronda is almost 50 km long, 30 km of which are on skis, and allows you to visit some of the most renowned ski resorts in the Dolomites: Arabba, Val di Fassa, Val Gardena and Alta Badia. The ski lifts, all fast and ultra-modern, are connected by ski slopes that are often perfectly groomed and snow-covered. A true paradise for skiers!
The Sellaronda tour allows skiing around the mighty Sella massif (one of the highest peaks in the Dolomites) and connects the Pordoi Pass, Sella Pass, Gardena Pass and Campolongo Pass. This ski tour allows you to enjoy breathtaking views and admire the most important peaks of the Dolomites.

I can take you to the most beautiful ski runs in the Dolomites with a short detour from the normal route and, if there are queues at the ski lifts, I can take you to less frequented areas. Not to mention lunch: I will accompany you to the best refuges where you can taste the best traditional cuisine of the Dolomites!

Program

Meeting time and point: 8.30 am at the starting point of the Arabba-Portavescono gondola. Alternative meeting point: Malga Ciapela, Corvara, Colfosco, Canazei, Alba, Campitello di Fassa, Santa Cristina or Selva di Valgardena
Ends of activity: early afternoon (in base of the meeting point)

What you need to know:
  • The minimum age should not be seen as a rigid parameter, but rather as a rough indication that will obviously depend on the technical skills, experience and level of training of the participants. If you feel that you or a member of your group would be able to take part in the excursion if your age were lower, please contact me directly at info@giovanni-orlando.it or call +39 328 83 15 601. In this case it is compulsory to contact the guide before registering for the activity.
  • The maximum number of persons indicated must be intended for a single guide. In the case of larger groups, one or more mountain guides will be used, in accordance with the maximum ratio indicated on the activity sheet.   • It is imperative that participants follow the instructions of the mountain guide before and during the activities and respect any changes to the chosen programme in order to ensure their safety.
  • Fees for facilities, transfers and accommodation are subject to change at the discretion of the operator (external to my company) and are not included in the price of the activity unless otherwise stated.
  • The fares shown in the ‘The fare does not include’ section are indicative and may vary.
  • For all itineraries and activities, the guide reserves the right to make changes according to conditions (weather, accessibility, refuges) and the physical condition of the participants.
  • The times indicated for carrying out the activities are subject to variations due to weather conditions and the physical state of the area (snowfall, terrain conditions, etc.) and necessarily depend on the opening and closing dates of the ski lifts, which are set seasonally/annually by the ski lift operators and are therefore in no way attributable to the mountain guide.
  • Minors under the age of 18, if unaccompanied, require a parental or guardian waiver to be given to the guide prior to the excursion.
