The Trincee via ferrata at Cima Mesola (Padon – Marmolada mountain range) is one of the most beautiful via ferrata in the Dolomites. A long ferrata, steep and phisical demanding in the first part, but which will give unforgettable emotions to those who climb it. The panorama is incredible and includes the most important peaks of the Dolomites: not only will the Marmolada glacier be with us all day, but also the Sella and Sassolungo will be watching us, stern and imposing.
After the first challenging part, the difficulties definitely decrease, although there are some technical and spectacular sections, such as a suspension bridge. Finally, in the last part, you will pass through various Italian and Austrian WW1 trenches and tunnels.
In short, a real concentration of emotions, breathtaking views and WW1 history! A must for every via ferratas enthusiast!
